Consulting Engineer
Emily graduated from Electrotechnical University in St. Petersburg, Russia with a Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering. After graduation, she worked as the X-Rays Equipment Designer and Test Engineer. She established a lesting lab for evaluation of Medical, Industrial and Household Appliances to standards of IEC 60335 Series.
From 1995 to 2020, Emily worked with Intertek, which is a nationally recognized testing lab. During these years she has been involved in evaluation for conformity of Medical, Household, Industrial, Information technology, Life safety and Security standards. She was also a Lead Engineer at Intertek in the area of Life Safety and Security, which covered the wide variety of alarm system including Fire Alarm Systems, Mass Notification Systems, Nurse Call/Emergency Call Systems and Security systems.
Emily has been a member of NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) from 2011. She is involved in Committee work on the National Fire Code, NFPA 72. She has helped customers in selling equipment and goods to countries of EAC including Russia with homologation.
